My name is Ryan Sullivan. I write and record music as Golden Birthday along with Adam Griffin, Beau Wanzer and Colin Oram. Though I find opening up and isolating what I find interesting to create blog entries and online content to be difficult most of the time, I will do my best to keep this blog interesting. How’s it going? I gotta tell ya I love Golden Birthday! Esp. when you perform on Chic A Go Go…
Anyways, I am attending MIDEM in January, which is an international music licensing conference held in France. For the event, I need to select a band to represent who I feel has potential to generate interest from industry professionals for licensing purposes, in Europe. Golden Birthday immediately came to mind!
If you’re at all interested - what I need to find out is some information regarding the copyright owners for your sound recordings and whether or not you guys own your own
publishing.
